                    Time:2021-03-19 16:10Hits:317

E-Mark, also known as the European Common Market, is required to comply with the requirements of the European Union Directive and the Economic Commission for Europe Regulation for the production of automobiles, locomotives, and their safety parts, as well as noise and exhaust emissions. The products must meet the certification requirements and be awarded a certificate of conformity to ensure the safety and environmental protection of driving. The number assigned to E-Mark varies depending on the country of certification. For example, when applying in Luxembourg, the E-Mark logo is E13/e13.

Whole vehicle - refers to electric vehicles with two or more wheels, such as passenger cars, trucks, motorcycles, buses, and off road vehicles. Automotive parts such as headlights and bulbs, various mirrors, tires, wheels, brakes, horns, anti-theft equipment, seat belts, car windows, and exhaust pipes - safety helmets, child safety chairs, and internal electrical accessories.

Since October 2002, it has been mandatory for all vehicles, vehicle components, and electronic products used in vehicles to undergo EMC testing. All electronic components sold in Europe must comply with EMC Directive 95/54/EC, and self declarations made in accordance with EMC Directive 89/336/EEC will no longer be valid. The E/eMark certificate is issued by the notified body authorized by the European Union for vehicle products. That is to say, the CE (EMC) certification previously applied for in vehicle electronics and electronic components will no longer be valid from October 2002. You must reapply for the E/eMark certificate issued by the European national transportation department before selling in the European market.

                    Certification process

                    1. Manufacturers prepare technical data and samples.

                    2. Conduct testing.

                    3. The first application requires a factory inspection.

In principle, manufacturers who have obtained ISO9000 and other quality system certificates issued by EU certification agencies do not need to undergo factory inspections.

                    4. Submit test reports and manufacturer technical data for review.

                    5. European national transportation departments issue certificates (certification agencies may conduct regular or irregular factory inspections of certified product manufacturers).
